INJECTION (ROCK GROUTING) OPERATOR CERTIFICATION

In order to increase safety and enhance quality AMA Anläggning (Swedish standard) now states that all operators performing grouting operations have to undergo a training course focused on injection/rock grouting in order to attain a certification. Edvirt® is accredited by the Swedish Rock Engineering Association and provides the course regularly at various locations.

The Swedish Rock Engineering Association will certify all participants that goes through and passes the course, including both theory and grouting lab tests. Participants also need at least 2 months of practical experience of rock grouting. The experience can be attained after the course. All course participants, no matter of experience, get a course certificate.

Note: There is now also a certificate for Site managers and Construction managers. It’s however the same course required for it.
 

INFORMATION

The course is aimed at operators, consultants, supervisors and persons in managing positions. The course has been developed to meet the demands from Swedish Transport Administration as stipulated in their educational plan published during the spring of 2016. Now its administered by the Swedish Rock Engineering Association.

Edvirt® offers a 3-day course, in accordance with minimum time requirements from Swedish Rock Engineering Association. The course is held in Stockholm and Göteborg and all course material and literature is provided. The course also includes interactive training elements with Edvirt's® grouting simulator, INLABB™. Lectures are held by experts from Chalmers University of Technology and the Royal Institute of Technology specialized in grouting and geo-technology.

There is one certificate for Operators and another one for Site manager and Construction manager. It is however the same course for both certificates, just different requirements when it comes to work experience.
