LKAB has established an internal certification scheme for their shotcrete operators. The certification is issued after operators passing a 3-day long course including theory, lab tests and simulator tests, run by Edvirt.

To ensure that Boliden´s shotcrete operators are well-trained and efficient, the company has started a certification course that is conducted by Edvirt and are currently being held in the Boliden area, close to Skellefteå, Sweden.
