The VD Shotcrete Simulator™ was released in 2013 and is now at its third generation. It’s a renowned product used globally for training of nozzlemen. Over 600 nozzlemen has gone through training with the simulator and it is used by actors such as Jetcrete in Australia, Marti Tunnelbau in Switzerland and LKAB in Sweden. Edvirt’s VR Shotcrete Simulator™ is also used as one of the mandatory modules in the EFNARC C2 certification. The Swedish Transport Administration also require all nozzlemen in Sweden to go through the simulator’s training program prior to commencement in production.

The simulator has also been scientifically validated as an efficient training tool by the Division of Engineering Psychology at Luleå University of Technology.

Edvirt® offers shotcrete contractors, mining companies and training institutes to use the simulator to train nozzlemen in an efficient, safe and cost effective manner. The simulator is offered by Edvirt® through training courses and rentals.
