The course includes classroom theory during a full day, taught by an EFNARC Examiner. The theory involves both basic and advanced theory covering subjects such as the material concrete, spraying equipment, spraying techniques and HSE. The course also involves virtual reality training and assessment where participants get to train on state-of-the-art VR-simulators, simulating both the equipment and the concrete material in a very realistic way. Each participant get to spray approximately 40 m3 concrete in the simulator, using a full-size machine. At the final day a practical session is held where the Examiner goes through e.g. startup and shutdown procedures, application and daily maintenance. The course participants also get to spray a test panel each. The course ends up with a online theory exam for each participant.
